AlanDick chooses TMTS for Vehicle Tracking
|
TM Tracking Systems has been awarded a contract with AlanDick & Co to supply the OceanMinder vehicle tracking and security system for its fleet of vehicles throughout West Africa. The OceanMinder system was chosen over other competiting technologies as it allows the operator to track and monitor vehicle movements throughout the country and is not dependent upon cellular phone coverage, which is often unreliable.
"The TM Tracking System allows us uninterrupted coverage for all our vehicles, even in cellular black-spots, and also provides an essential panic alert capability to advise of any incident requiring emergency assistance" reports Tony Kwashie, Engineering Manager for AlanDick. "Our logistics are now well managed, and our remote workers have an emergency distress system that they know will trigger a response."
The OceanMinder solutions from TM Tracking are based on Inmarsat's latest IsatM2M technology, the leading global tracking and security system.
